Jurnal Pendidikan UNIGA is committed to maintaining academic integrity, transparency, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. Artificial intelligence (AI) tools may assist authors in research and manuscript preparation, provided that their use is responsible and transparent.

Guidelines for Authors

Permitted Use of AI

Authors may use AI tools for language editing, grammar checking, and improving writing clarity. However, AI tools must not replace authors' scholarly judgment, critical thinking, or responsibility for the research and its findings.

Disclosure of AI Use

Authors must disclose the use of generative AI tools when these tools have contributed substantially to manuscript preparation, including the generation of text, analysis, or other substantive content. The disclosure should identify the AI tool used and describe its role in preparing the manuscript.

Human Authorship and Accountability

Jurnal Pendidikan UNIGA does not recognize AI tools as authors or co-authors because they cannot take responsibility for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of scholarly work. Authors remain fully responsible for all submitted content, including the verification of facts, references, data, and interpretations.

Prohibited Use of AI

The use of AI to engage in the following practices is prohibited:

  • Fabricating or falsifying research data.
  • Generating false or unverifiable references.
  • Concealing plagiarism or misrepresenting the originality of a manuscript.
  • Misrepresenting research findings or evidence.

Guidelines for Editors and Reviewers

CONFIDENTIALITY & RESPONSIBILITY

Responsible Use and Confidentiality

Editors and reviewers of Jurnal Pendidikan UNIGA must use AI tools responsibly and maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts. Confidential manuscript content must not be shared with AI tools in ways that compromise the review process or authors' intellectual property.

Policy Implementation

The editorial team reserves the right to request clarification regarding AI use and to take appropriate action if a manuscript violates this policy.
