Digital archiving, preservation, and continued access to the scholarly content of Jurnal Pendidikan UNIGA.

Jurnal Pendidikan UNIGA is committed to preserving its published scholarly content and supporting continued access to articles over time. This policy outlines the journal's approach to digital archiving, content preservation, and author self-archiving.

1. Digital Archiving and Preservation

Published articles and journal issues should be maintained in digital form to support long-term preservation, reliable retrieval, and continued access to the scholarly record. The journal's preservation arrangements should include appropriate storage of article files, metadata, and publication records.

2. Backup and Data Protection

The journal's publisher and website administrators should maintain appropriate backup procedures for journal content, metadata, and essential publication records. Backup practices should be reviewed periodically to reduce the risk of data loss caused by technical failure, accidental deletion, or other disruptions.

3. Digital Preservation Services

Jurnal Pendidikan UNIGA may use recognized digital preservation services, such as the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) or LOCKSS, where these services have been configured and the journal's participation has been confirmed.

Information about specific preservation services will be updated when the journal's participation and technical configuration have been verified. The journal will not claim participation in an archiving network unless it has been established.

4. Author Self-Archiving

Authors may share and deposit their published articles in personal websites, institutional repositories, or relevant scholarly repositories, subject to the journal's applicable copyright and licensing terms and any third-party rights restrictions.

When depositing an article, authors should provide a complete citation to the original publication and, where available, a link to the official journal page or the article's DOI.

5. Continued Access to Published Articles

The journal aims to maintain access to published articles through its official website and appropriate preservation arrangements. If the journal website becomes unavailable or the publishing platform changes, the publisher should take reasonable steps to restore access to archived content where technically possible.

6. Integrity of the Scholarly Record

Published articles form part of the scholarly record. Corrections, expressions of concern, and retractions will be handled in accordance with the journal's Corrections and Retractions Policy. Where appropriate, the original publication record should remain identifiable, with clear links to any subsequent editorial notices.

7. Policy Review

The editorial team and publisher should periodically review the effectiveness of the journal's archiving arrangements and update this policy when preservation services, technical systems, or publication practices change.
