The journal was established in 2010, and online publication was begun since 2016. Since 2021, the journal is published in Indonesia and English. ISSN-e is 2715-9949 and ISSN-p is 2087-0337.
The Jurnal Ilmiah Farmako Bahari is published 2 times a year (January and July), peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original research articles and review articles in all pharmacy areas. The journal is accredited by The Ministry of Research and Technology/National Agency for Research and Innovation (RISTEK-BRIN) No. 200/M/KPT/2020 (in Three Rank).
