This study aimed to determine the relationship between physical literacy and physical fitness among Grade X students of the PPLG 1 Department at SMKN 1 Karawang. This research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational method. The population consisted of 82 Grade X students of the PPLG Department at SMKN 1 Karawang, while the sample comprised 41 students from Grade X PPLG 1 selected through a cluster random sampling technique. Data were collected using the Adolescent Physical Literacy Questionnaire (APLQ) to measure physical literacy and the Indonesian Student Fitness Test (Tes Kebugaran Siswa Indonesia/TKSI) Phase E to assess physical fitness. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, normality tests, linearity tests, and Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The results revealed a positive and significant relationship between physical literacy and physical fitness, indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.459 and a significance value of 0.003 (p < 0.05), categorized as moderate. These findings suggest that students with higher levels of physical literacy tend to have better physical fitness, so the development of physical literacy should receive greater attention in Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) learning as an effort to improve students' physical fitness.
