This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing situational game training in improving basic underhand passing techniques in volleyball among students participating in extracurricular activities at SMPN 1 Mekarmukti. The problem found in this study was that many students in volleyball extracurricular activities still had difficulty performing the underhand passing technique. The type of research used was an experiment with a one-group pretest and posttest design. The population used was 12 volleyball extracurricular students at SMPN 1 Mekarmukti. The instrument used was a test, namely the Brumbach Forearms Pass-Wall-Volley Test. The data analysis technique used was a prerequisite test, namely the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test to determine normality and homogeneity, and the t-test to test hypotheses at a significance level of < 0.05. The results of research on basic underhand passing techniques in volleyball show that there was a significant improvement with the implementation of a game situation training program in volleyball extracurricular activities. Based on the Paired Sample T-Test calculation, a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 was obtained. This figure is smaller than the specified significance level of 0.05. In other words, there was a significant change between the pretest score of 24.58 and the posttest score of 31.00.
