EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN BERMAIN TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN DASAR HOCKEY PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR (STUDI KASUS DI SDN 1 MEKARGALIH)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how effective the learning model is in improving the basic skills of indoor hockey students in grade V of SDN 1 Mekargalih, namely dribbling, passing, and stopping the ball. For this study, a pre-experimental design of one pretest-posttest group was used on twenty students selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-test sample pairs after being collected through indoor hockey basic skills tests. The results showed that each indicator experienced a significant average increase, namely dribbling from 57.50 to 79.35, passing the ball from 59.20 to 77.80, and stopping the ball from 58.00 to 77.95, with a significance value of the t-test double sample test of 0.000 (p<0.05). These findings suggest that the play-learning model contributes significantly to the improvement of elementary school students' basic skills in indoor hockey. Therefore, this model can be suggested as an effective and enjoyable alternative to physical education
