This study aims to examine the effect of visual imagery training on improving the peak performance of female volleyball extracurricular participants at SMKN 4 Kota Bima. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a one group pretest–posttest design. The sample consisted of 16 participants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using performance tests and questionnaires to assess both performance outcomes and psychological aspects. The intervention was conducted over four weeks with a frequency of three sessions per week. Data analysis utilized descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results indicated an increase in the mean test score from 68.25 to 82.13 and in the questionnaire score from 70.10 to 84.20 after the intervention. The hypothesis testing showed a significance value of less than 0.05, indicating a statistically significant effect. In conclusion, visual imagery training is effective in enhancing peak performance by improving both performance quality and psychological readiness, making it a viable training strategy for extracurricular volleyball activities.
