PENGARUH TEKNIK DRIBBLING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN PENGUASAAN BOLA DALAM PERMAINAN BOLA BASKET SISWA DI SMA NEGERI 17 GARUT

Physical education is a process of interaction between students, educators, and the environment, managed through the development of physical education learning conducted systematically, so that learning can occur effectively and efficiently toward the formation of a whole person. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of ball modification on the skills of students at SMAN 17 Garut. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method (pseudo-experiment).Dribbling training is a method used to help deliver a learning process or convey the learning objectives to be given to students. The modifications include changes in the form of games, tools, and other learning processes. The population in this study consists of all students at SMAN 17 Garut, while the sample includes 42 students. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. To collect data on students' dribbling skills, the researcher used observation. The results of data analysis testing concluded that the effect of ball modification on students' basic motor skills and gameplay in soccer, basketball, and volleyball at SMAN 17 Garut is 7.3%. Among the 42 students, a significant effect was observed. The conclusion of this study is that systematically designed physical education can be more effective with the modification of tools and learning methods. Ball modification has been proven to have a positive and significant impact in improving basic playing skills, especially dribbling, in soccer, basketball, and volleyball at SMAN 17 Garut
