Abstract

The problem in this research is that the activities and learning outcomes were identified as problems from the results of observations made by the researcher. The researcher found that many students did not participate or were active in learning PJOK during class hours, during material or practice. This is the basis of the problem that will be carried out, because learning cannot be said to be successful if there are still students who lack participation or activeness of these students. The problem that will be used as research this time is how big the effect of implementing the game method is on student learning participation in physical education learning for students at SMKN 10 Garut. This research used a classroom action research method which was carried out in two cycles. The target of the research is to increase the activity and participation or liveliness of the learning outcomes of class X, XI students at SMKN 10 Garut, totaling 20 people. Data obtained through learning test results and game method practice. By showing the test results in cycle I, 7 students (35%) had not yet completed the results and 4 students (20%) had not yet completed the activeness of the students who had not yet achieved completeness. To maximize learning so that all students complete it, in this case the researcher used a cycle II program. From the test results in cycle II, it has shown a significant increase in the implementation of the game method towards student learning participation in physical education learning for students at SMKN 10 Garut. All students are able to follow and adapt to the learning activities that have been implemented.
