Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Penyerahan belum diterbitkan sebelumnya, atau sedang dalam pertimbangan jurnal lain (atau sebuah penjelasan belum disediakan dalam komentar kepada editor).
  • File naskah dalam format file dokumen OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, atau WordPerfect.
  • Ketika tersedia, URLs untuk referensi telah disediakan.
  • Teks 1 spasi; font 12; italic; tidak digaribawahi (kecuali alamat URL); dan semua ilustrasi, figur, dan tabel yang ditempatkan di dalam teks pada poin yang tepat, jangan di akhir.
  • Teks yang mematuhi persyaratan mengenai perpustakaan dan gaya bahasa digambarkan secara garis besar di Petunjuk Penulis, yang akan ditemukan dalam halaman Tentang Kami.

Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines
Pharmacoscienta is published biannually—in June and December—adhering to open-access principles and a double-blind peer-review system. The journal aims to present the latest scientific information and developments to researchers, academics, and practitioners in the fields of pharmacy and related disciplines.


Pharmacoscienta publishes original research articles and review articles covering various aspects of pharmaceutical sciences. Manuscripts may be written in either Indonesian or English. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial screening and selection process by the editorial team to ensure compliance with the journal's requirements. Manuscripts meeting these criteria proceed to the double-blind peer-review stage, involving at least two reviewers with expertise relevant to the article's subject matter.

Manuscript Style
Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English and must be systematically organized according to established scientific writing structures.
1) Original Research
Articles Original research articles present findings from original research that have not been previously published. The maximum manuscript length is 3,000 words, including space allocated for up to 6 tables, figures, or other illustrations.
2) Review Articles
Review articles may be considered for publication if the topic aligns with the journal's focus and scope. Review manuscripts have a maximum limit of 5,000 words, including space for up to 6 tables, figures, or other illustrations.


Manuscript Structure
The manuscript must be organized into the following sections:
• Abstract: 200–300 words presenting key information and the study's main conclusions, accompanied by 3–5 keywords.
• Introduction: Explains the background and research objectives, provides a brief overview of relevant prior research, and includes appropriate references.
• Methods: Describes the methods or procedures used in the study.
• Results: Systematically presents the study's findings or results.
• Discussion: Interprets and elaborates on the results by relating them to theories or previous research.
• Conclusion: Summarizes the core findings in relation to the established objectives.
• Acknowledgments: Included if there are parties deserving of recognition or appreciation for their contributions to the research.
• References: Lists all bibliographic sources used and cited in the manuscript.

Formatting Guidelines
Articles must be written in Indonesian or English using 11-point Arial font and single spacing, with a maximum length of 10 pages. Margin settings are 4 cm for the top, 4 cm for the left, 3 cm for the bottom, and 3 cm for the right.

Illustration Guidelines
Every illustration used in the article—including images, charts, and graphs—must be accompanied by a caption placed beneath it. All illustrations must be numbered sequentially (e.g., 1, 2, 3, etc.) and placed on separate pages, apart from the main text. The intended placement of each illustration within the manuscript must be clearly marked. Additionally, every illustration must be referenced in the text and numbered sequentially using the term "Figure."

Reference Guidelines
The reference list must follow the Vancouver style. References should be listed at the end of the article and include only those sources actually used and cited in the manuscript. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software—such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Grammarly—to assist in organizing and formatting their references. When compiling the reference list, authors must adhere to the guidelines and format established by the journal.
